Causes of Weight Gain

There are many causes for gaining weight, but some of the main reasons are related to our genetic make-up. Every cell in the body has a central control system, the nucleus which controls our genes and chromosomes.

The increase in calories, unhealthy fats and sugars consumed promotes unhealthy eating habits and larger portions sizes and calorie laden drinks.

Lifestyle choices are another problem in todays society. Poor nutrition leads to fatigue and depression, eating out of boredom, stress and anxieties has a great impact on our overall health and wellbeing and most of all on gaining extra Weight.
