Some of these calories are addictive, such as sugar and chocolate, some are promoting weight gain and create a variety of health conditions and others have healing properties that can boost your metabolism and immune system, lower your cholesterol, reduce inflammation and promote detoxifications.

Calories are not created equal and the ones consumed from broccoli are not the same as from sodas loaded with fructose and glucose which spike your blood sugar, increase the storage of belly fat and inflammation, high blood pressure and the cravings for more.
