Ten Rules for Better Health

Cherish your health. If it is good, preserve it. If it is declining, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help

(1)  Set realistic goals and expectations. They are your choice. (2) Replace sodas and soft drinks with plain water or herbal teas. A single 12 ounce can of soda has as much as 13 teaspoons of sugar in the form of high-fructose corn syrup.

(3) Make a decision to think of food as nourishment. Eat what your body needs. (4) Commit to eating one fruit or raw vegetable with each meal (preferably organically grown). (5) Instead of watching television, read more books or pursue a hobby. Stay active mentally and physically. (6) Get more sunshine by choosing outdoor activities like gardening. (7)  Try to get some form of exercise every day.

(8) Rest and relax – try to get at least eight hours of sleep. Most people are sleep deprived, and the health cost is enormous. (9) Make a point to learn how to safely and gradually get yourself off medications by eliminating underlying imbalances or illnesses. The fewer medications you take, the healthier you’ll be. (10) Forgive and forget. Letting go of anger and bitterness can drastically improve your health.

Do all these things and you will be a happier, healthier person. Small changes to your lifestyle will improve your overall health in the long term. Once you begin to feel the benefits of these changes, you may want to include:  Whole body cleansing, diet and weight-loss programs, detoxification and others.
